2 cups of wheat flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
¼ teaspoon salt, 1 ¼ cups water
1 ¼ cup of chopped dates
1 cup raisins
1 tablespoon tea ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon powdered ginger
½ teaspoon ground cloves
½ teaspoon nutmeg powder
½ cup of grated carrot
½ cup chopped walnuts Pérola da Ilha
1/3 cup orange juice
Preheat the oven to 180 º C. Grease a rectangular shape whit butter. Line with parchment paper greased also. Reserve. Sift the flour together with the baking powder, cinnamon and sugar into a bowl. Add the grated carrots, chopped nuts, zest of orange peel and raisins.
Separately, beat eggs with oil. Add the mixture to the prepared earlier and involved. Transfer the dough to form. Bake for about 45-50 minutes at 180 º C. Remove cake from oven and let it stand for 5 minutes before unmolding, in part, on the grille. Serve the cake cold.
