Rice with dried fruits

Igredients

½ kg of rice
2 garlic cloves
cashew 100 gr
100 gr. Almond
150 gr. peas
1 large carrot
1 bay leaf
1 tablespoon raisins
olive oil at taste
salt at taste

Preparation method

Add the rice to soak for 30 minutes. Meanwhile chop the almonds and cashew. Heat over low heat a little olive oil and add garlic and bay leaf. Add ½ cup water, rice, raisins and carrots into cubes. Cook about 5 minutes. Put in the nuts, peas, 3 cups water and salt. Simmer until the rice is cooked.
